If you are painting or sculpting in leisure, would you like to concentrate for a few days? Or if you've never done it, would you try it? Do you find the beautiful mosaic also and would like to participate in a collective project? Combine your holidays with an artistic occupation and come to L'Atelier l'Oiseau Libre, located in the former abbey of Droiteval. The artist Mirjam Bijvank teaches all techniques of painting and intuitive painting, sculpture on stone or wood and mosaic. Beginner or advanced, you will be with Mirjam in your place. You will return with new skills to better advance at home. You can count on a very professional support and you work a week in a naturally spiritual, artistic and inspiring environment. You are accommodated in one of the artistically furnished rooms, in full board or you can rent a studio or an apartment. Your partner is welcome even if he or she is not creative.
Painting: paper (65x50) canvases, brushes, paint according to the chosen technique. Sculpture: a soft stone such as soapstone, serpentine, alabaster or limestone, or a soft wood like linden or birch. Mosaic material can be purchased locally.
